Welcome the brand new 2009 Honda Pilot.
The all new 2009 Honda Pilot sports a new redesigned exterior and interior and also gains volume in passenger capacity and cargo space. This midsize crossover SUV seats eight, with 60/40 split folding benches in the 2nd and 3rd rows. Fitted with a robust 250-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine, the Pilot uses Honda's variable cylinder-deactivation technology, which switches among six-cylinder, four-cylinder and three-cylinder modes for better fuel economy. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the new Pilot is a solid 17 mpg city/23 mpg highway for two-wheel-drive models, and 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway for four-wheel-drive models.
The Pilot’s interior features include Honda’s Satellite-Linked Navigation System, which can also be used as a rear view camera display, Bluetooth Hand’s Free Link, MP3/Auxilary Input Jack and USB Audio Interface Connectivity, Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System, Tri-zone Automatic Climate Control with Humidity Control, and a 115-volt Power Outlet.
Exterior features include 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust finishers, acoustic windshield, a power tailgate with lift-up hatch glass, and side-mirror-integrated turn signals. It is available in three additional trims -- EX includes alloy wheels and an upgraded audio system, the EX-L and Touring trims add standard leather upholstery.
